“Looking to Jesus” Hebrews 12:2
We believe that the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible are the Word of God, fully inspired by the Holy Spirit without error in the original manuscript and the infallible rule of faith and practice.
We believe there is only one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, omnipotent and omnipresent who are co-equal in their essential nature, attributes and perfection; and each of whom is to be honored and worshiped as God.
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, possessing two distinct natures which are co-joined in one person, that He is God’s only begotten Son, that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life and that no one comes to the Father but through Him.
We believe that Jesus Christ, through His death on the cross and resurrection from death, paid for all sin and provided redemption, forgiveness and eternal life for all who believe; confess and repent of their sins and accept Him as their Lord and Savior.
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells any person who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and that He is an abiding helper, teacher and guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all Biblical gifts of the Spirit according to Scripture.
We believe that Jesus commanded believers to be baptized. We believe full immersion in water is the better symbolic process for baptism. We believe Jesus commanded believers to take communion remembering His sacrifice on the cross. Both are acts of obedience, neither will save a sinner.
We believe that God created marriage making a legal union of one genetic male and one genetic female.
We believe in the Biblical account of creation by God in the book of Genesis.
We believe that Satan is real and a malevolent spirit, but his power is limited by God.
We believe that the pre-tribulation view of the rapture is supported by Scripture. However, this is not an essential that we divide over.
We believe that Jesus is alive now and will return to the earth at His second coming to establish His Millennial Kingdom.
